The South Boston Neighborhood House has been providing services to the families of South Boston since 1901 when Olivia James opened the house to “support family and neighborhood life in South Boston.” The faces of the families we serve have changed but continue to inspire our focus and mission which has always remained constant.

Our success would not be possible without the dedicated board members, staff and volunteers who live our mission everyday and the individuals, corporations and foundations who believe in our work and generously provide their support. We thank you!

It is our hope that this site will help you to get to know us better and we look forward to working with you as we continue our mission to Support Family and Neighborhood Life in South Boston.
