Adolescent Programs
Purpose
The South Boston Neighborhood House has always excelled at offering a safe, non-judgmental haven for our youth. Youth have always been an important part of the spirit and activities of the South Boston Neighborhood House. Our Adolescent Services program reaches out to teens during their formative years and provides support, encouragement, and guidance at this important crossroad in their lives. The House’s program activities lay the groundwork for trust, self-esteem, and like skills as well as contribute to the overall quality of life for the young women and men in South Boston.

The goal of our program is to focus on building positive attitudes and foster a sense of responsibility toward self, school, work and the community. Education is the cornerstone of future success for our youth and the House’s programs focus on assisting our youth to remain in school, to create and attain goals, to prepare for employment opportunities and be better equipped to make the right decisions in life.
